NEW YORK, N.Y. (June 3, 2019) – Americas Rallycross (ARX) is expanding its television and digital streaming coverage in 2019 on CBS Sports Network (CBSSN) and Facebook Live.
“Our relationship with CBS Sports has been a great asset to the growth of our ARX and FIA World Rallycross properties for the past several years,” said ARX Series Director, Jordan Martindale, of IMG.
“This year, our expanded television broadcasts will serve as a great opportunity to showcase ARX2 and the drivers’ personalities and our digital efforts with Facebook position the series as one of the most accessible in motorsports, enabling fans the opportunity to consume more rallycross content than ever.”
This year, fans will be able to watch every round of the ARX Supercar and ARX2 Championship live on Facebook, featuring over 30 hours of live and on-demand content, allowing fans to re-live the excitement all year long.
“The Facebook partnership with ARX is a great step in the viewership direction,” said Andretti Rallycross driver Tanner Foust. “Digital streaming in sports is key, and to partner with one of the largest companies in the world is going to give us a great opportunity to focus on our digital efforts and gain more fans through this platform and expose to fans, for free, every second of track time and bring them as close as they can to the event experience.”
The ARX commentary team comprising of DirtFish Motorsports driver James Rimmer, skateboarding legend Bucky Lasek and the voice of rallycross, Andrew Coley, return to the booth once again in 2019 to present the live coverage on Facebook and the CBS Sports Network highlights coverage.
