Tightest NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship battle in 19 years stops at Portland next weekend

Five drivers separated by 43 points; Top two in point standings will test at Portland International Raceway tomorrow

PORTLAND, Ore. (Aug. 25, 2022) - Championship chases are heating up across multiple series as the 2022 motorsports season draws closer to the finish line. With only two races remaining, the NTT INDYCAR SERIES title race is historically tight as the series heads to Portland International Raceway (PIR) for the pivotal Grand Prix of Portland, Sept. 2-4.

What a spectacular Honda Indy Toronto weekend from start to finish!  It was great to see so many fans back out beginning on Fan Friday presented by our Ontario Honda Dealers to benefit Make-A-Wish Canada, and it ended with a historic victory by Scott Dixon to tie Mario Andretti at No. 2 in all-time INDYCAR SERIES wins.  We’re looking forward to 2023 with our great partners, volunteers and festival-goers back on the streets of Toronto.
