Travel Portland, Sport Oregon and Green Savoree Racing Promotions Announce Collaboration to Bring NASCAR Racing to Pacific Northwest

PORTLAND, Ore. (Sept. 29, 2021) – The thrills of NASCAR Xfinity Series racing will stop at Portland International Raceway (PIR) on Saturday, June 4, 2022, bringing millions of dollars of economic impact. NASCAR and Green Savoree Racing Promotions officials jointly announced the race today along with representatives from the City of Portland, Travel Portland, and Sport Oregon.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Will Make Its First Appearance at Mid-Ohio on July 9th

LEXINGTON, Ohio (Sept. 29, 2021) – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will showcase five race weekends again for its 2022 schedule, but with an exciting, new feature confirmed for next year’s 61st season of racing at the legendary road course in Lexington, Ohio. For the very first time, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will race on the 2.258-mile, 13-turn track layout on Saturday, July 9th.

After all the disappointment experienced from missing out on the event the last two years, we are thrilled that the Honda Indy Toronto will return to Exhibition Place July 15th to 17th, 2022,” said Jeff Atkinson, president of Honda Indy Toronto. “We are grateful to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, Honda Canada, the province of Ontario and the City of Toronto for working closely with us to make this happen.”

(July 27, 2021) – After race fans and festival-goers missed out on this spectacular event last year, the admission gates will open again to fans in just 45 days for the Grand Prix of Portland. Single Day tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. PT for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES race weekend returning to Portland International Raceway (PIR), Sept 10-12, 2021.
