We have another exciting update for our Season Race Pass holders in addition to the announcement earlier this week about approved access to select private, non-spectator car club event weekends at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.
Motorsports facility is sourcing candidates for possible part-time positions
LEXINGTON, Ohio (July 16, 2020) – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, has opened its employment application process to potentially fill some seasonal positions in specialty areas for the remainder of its 2020 racing season. Hardworking, dedicated candidates ages 16 and older are encouraged to apply now for roles in the call center, ticketing and credentials, food service and catering, security, safety services, operations and maintenance.

Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio Begins 59th Season of Racing
LEXINGTON, Ohio (June 22, 2020) – After nearly a two-month pause, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will open its gates to spectators on a limited basis this weekend for the Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio, June 26-28. The race weekend is the longest continuously-running annual event at the motorsports facility in Lexington, Ohio, which previously was the season-opener most recently in 2017.
Under the “Responsible RestartOhio” guidelines for COVID-19, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has been working with state and local government officials in Ohio to secure approval for spectator attendance (without grandstands) at the Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio set for June 26-28, 2020 because it is a non-contact sport.
We ask for your continued patience as we work toward our goal for fans to be allowed back at Mid-Ohio and do appreciate your understanding. We will keep you informed as we have new information.
Annual celebration of America’s motorcycling heritage benefits the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum
PICKERINGTON, Ohio – – The American Motorcyclist Association and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course (Mid-Ohio), working closely with state and local health authorities, are postponing AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days, scheduled for July 10–12 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, in accordance with the state’s “Responsible RestartOhio” guidelines for holding public events amid the coronavirus pandemic. New dates for the event later in 2020 have not been finalized.
28th Season Starts on Tuesday, June 2
LEXINGTON, Ohio (May 28, 2020) – The Mid-Ohio School begins its 28th season of professional instruction this Tuesday, June 2, at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio. The 2020 schedule is available at midohioschool.com, and customers can register online or by calling 419-884-4000.
