PORTLAND, Ore. (August 20, 2020) – After reaching a three-year extension to their current agreement, City of Portland and Green Savoree Portland LLC officials announced today that the Grand Prix of Portland will return to the Pacific Northwest and Portland International Raceway (PIR) through at least 2023.
LEXINGTON, Ohio (August 1, 2020) – INDYCAR and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course have agreed to postpone The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio scheduled for Aug. 7-9 until a date to be determined in September or October. This decision was made through communication with local health officials given the current environment.
With Oregon’s statewide restrictions on public gatherings in effect through at least September, INDYCAR announced today that the Grand Prix of Portland has been removed from the series’ 2020 schedule. The event was scheduled to take place September 11-13 at Portland International Raceway.
59th Season of Racing Continues in Accordance with Approved COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols Including Statewide Mask Mandate
LEXINGTON, Ohio (July 27, 2020) – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course will open its gates to spectators again on a limited basis for The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Aug. 7-9. The event is now a doubleheader weekend for the NTT INDYCAR SERIES with 75-lap races on both Saturday, Aug. 8, and Sunday, Aug. 9, on the 2.258-mile, 13-turn road course in Lexington, Ohio.
